Undergraduate Primary Teacher Degree Apprenticeship
South Farnham SCITT is delighted to be working in partnership with the University of Brighton to deliver
the Teacher Degree Apprenticeship.
Our innovative undergraduate Teacher Degree Apprenticeship offers a distinctive route into primary teaching, allowing you to earn a salary while gaining hands-on experience in a school, completing your bachelor’s degree, and achieving Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
You will be employed by a school and receive a salary as you develop your skills and confidence. (As an apprentice, the cost of your learning programme is covered by your employer through their Digital Apprenticeship Service (DAS) account). From day one, you will be immersed in the classroom environment, working alongside expert colleagues and becoming an integral part of the school team. Throughout the course you will have 60% (three days a week) on-the-job training and 40% (equivalent to two days) off-the-job time with the majority of sessions delivered online to best fit around your schedule.
This course is open to a diverse range of applicants, including those already working in schools who wish to advance their careers, school-leavers, and individuals looking to change careers.
To join this course, you will need to have or identify an employer who is enthusiastic about supporting you throughout your apprenticeship or be ready to apply for an advertised position. We are currently collecting expressions of interest. Please click here to register your expression of interest.
